Welcome
to Coleta Sportsmen's Club.
Established
in 1954, the Coleta Sportsmen's Club provides a refuge and resource for
the avid sportsman and novice alike. Easy to find, the club rests in
80 acres of wide-open spaces bordered by trees and planted with prairie
grasses. Though tranquility sets the tone of this rurally - located
club, because of it's distance from the city clamor, it is close enough to
be convenient from most outlying communities.
We offer a veritable smorgasbord of leisure
activities to our members and families. If you've been
"look-in' for that just right fish-in' hole", the Coleta
Sportsmen's Club has a 3 acre private pond stocked with redears, crappies,
bass, and catfish just waiting to be caught. Supplied with a rowboat
for member use, all you need is a pole and some bait. And oh,
don't forget your honey, to do the rowing.
Or what better way to re-connect with the kids!
Make some lasting family memories while developing a lifetime hobby for
that special young person in your life. If a worm on a hook doesn't
"bait" your interest, don't worry! The Coleta Sportsmen's
Cub has much more to check out. Members and guest alike can enjoy as
spectators and / or participants in our
Fishing Derbies, Archery 3D shoots, ATA Trapshooting, Wednesday night
Skeet shooting, and Thursday night Trapshooting.
Don't forget to check out the real "meat and
potatoes" of our club - the acquiring and sharpening of skills in an
atmosphere of camaraderie. We have ranges to accommodate most
shooting sports, including trapshooting, pistol, rifle, black powder, and
archery. By becoming a member of the Coleta Sportsmen's Club, your
spouse / steady and children under 18 years of age also will enjoy all of
the benefits of membership - family fun, skill building, competition and
camaraderie with other sportsmen.
Who knows? You might like it so much you'll
want to stay. No problem. We have electrical hook-ups for RVs
and tent camping for members.
